Please help us fund Lola Bunnola’s surgery
Hi, we are Vee & Bruce. Our bun Lola Bunnola, who is the best behaved of our menagerie of fuzzy & feathered misfits, needs a very costly dental surgery. She is going in tomorrow for a stop-gap attempt to minimize her mouth pain so she can eat normally. We have a quote from her current vet for that procedure, which will leave her with open wounds until the infection is gone. The referral vet will need to get a CT scan and labs, and they have quoted us $1000-1100.
Lola is our sweetest family member. She is best friends with our small wobbly cat, and they often bathe each other’s heads. She snuggles with us on the sofa, she joins me for breakfast every day, and she sleeps with our great big dog at the foot of our bed. We are heartbroken that she is in pain, and we are doing our best to save her. We are both currently injured/disabled, out of work, and we’re struggling to make ends meet. Lola came to us when a friend had to give her up in a move, which is honestly how we ended up with a lot of our pets through the years. We can’t seem to turn away anybody furry or feathered. She has brought us so much joy, throwing her jingly ball around and tossing her empty food dishes out of her Bun-galow. (Bun-dominium?) She’s genuinely the nicest creature I’ve ever had the pleasure of living with.
