Help Theo get vet care

With being in and out of the vet since, September, it’s been a rough few months for Theo. He has had to undergo anesthesia several times for a CT scan, ear flush and molar trimmings. Theo has back teeth that continue to grow (many more molar trimmings in the future) and a very severe ear infection (with a found abscess). I am grateful for my vet Dr. Omar Zaheer who has the upmost care for Theo, and so far the ear flush has helped with his severe ear infection. Theo is now on 2 pain meds ongoing for months, and an antibiotic that we hope will continue to keep those ears healthy (potential surgery in the future). Theo also has developed emphysema, which we will be monitoring. With his current treatments since September adding up to $4300, as well as ongoing meds/future procedures, the bills are getting extremely difficult to manage on my own. In today’s Canadian economy, I had to move back in with my mother, as affording a place as a single woman is not feasible right now, and additionally with Theo’s health bills. Theo and my family and I would greatly appreciate your support, anything helps!

Theo has been my best companion. I’ve become a better person with him, and often cherish his quiet personality, which adds so much peace and forces me to slow down in a truly chaotic world. His little stubborn tendencies have taught me a whole lot of patience, and I’ve become that much stronger because of him. As a sensitive person, he is truly my spirit animal. It has been a dream of mine to have a rabbit since I was younger, but my family wouldn’t let me. Fast forward to me moving out on my own, I got Theo, a dream come true. Though it has only been 5.5 years, he has become the best companion to my family as well, specifically my late father. When he was here with us, Theo brought him so much joy and I know he would be proud to see me doing what I can to provide the best care for Theo.
