Help The Sweetest Boy Regain His Healthy Life

Hello, my name is Kuntal, and I have a little rabbit named Papai who is just about 2 years old. Papai is an inbred bunny and, unfortunately, has some unique challenges related to his genitals. His story began in 2022 when he was first rescued by a compassionate little boy, but due to various circumstances, he was then sent to another set of foster parents. Sadly, these foster parents were unable to provide him the care he needed due to their own health issues.

In 2023, Papai finally found his safe and loving forever home with me. He is simply the sweetest creature; in his happier days, he would hop and chin around all over the house, spreading joy wherever he went. When Papai first came to me, he was in a sorry state. He was covered in dirt, had a bad smell, and was suffering from mites, not to mention dealing with a significant muscle loss. Furthermore, he showed signs of E.C., a common rabbit disease.

We treated his E.C., and he started showing improvement, which was a great relief. But then, in January, he suddenly developed stasis. This caused him to eat less and less, and as a result, he started losing weight rapidly. These days, his primary diet consists of critical care and soft foods.

Despite my best efforts, it’s been challenging to find a good local vet to treat Papai. As a result, I need to take him to another city for his tests, dental check-up, and to potentially get him neutered by an exotic vet. Unfortunately, the financial implications of all these treatments are proving to be too much for me to bear.

I’m raising this fund to cover the necessary expenditures to provide Papai with the care he needs. I urge you to please help my precious boy regain his health and live a hoppy life once more. To me, Papai is not just a rabbit – he’s my whole life, my happiness, my boy. He is the reason I work hard every day and look forward to coming back home.
