Bun Bill™ Assistance helps cover your vet costs
Bun Bill™ vet bill assistance pays you a set amount for most medical exams, treatments, and procedures. See below for a payment chart. This is not insurance. It is a unique program designed to assist our members and work with any insurance they may have. If an invoice has multiple payable items, then Rabbit Savior will pay the combined amount. If members have a significant medical event that goes far beyond the Bun Bill™ assistance, then they can seek additional assistance through the Fund My Bun™ program.

BUN BILL™ PAYMENTS
THIS IS NOT INSURANCE. BUN BILL™ ASSISTANCE IS THE PERFECT COMPANION TO YOUR PET INSURANCE. IF YOU HAVE INSURANCE, BUN BILL™ ASSISTANCE WILL PAY UP TO THE LISTED AMOUNT THAT IS NOT COVERED BY YOUR INSURANCE. IF YOU DON’T HAVE INSURANCE, BUN BILL™ ASSISTANCE WILL COVER UP TO THE LISTED AMOUNT ON ANY AMOUNT BILLED FOR THE LISTED EXAMS, TREATMENTS, OR PROCEDURES.
These are the amounts Rabbit Savior™ will pay for each listed exam, treatment or procedure.
WELLNESS SERVICES – These are preventative services for healthy rabbits.
INCLUDES: Check-up exams / X-rays / Rhdv2 vaccine / Blood tests
Payments–
Tier 1 = up to $30 paid per bill
Tier 2 = up to $50 paid per bill
Tier 3 = up to $70 paid per bill
– Limited to one visit every 3 months with a maximum of 3 per year per rabbit. These can be paid out as separate items even if they are on the same bill.
Example situation – If your vet bill has a $110.00 charge for a Check-up exam, X-rays, Rhdv2 vaccine, or Blood test on it, we pay $30, $50, or $70 depending on your tier program.
For Tier 1, we pay $30 and you (or your insurance) pay the balance of $80
For Tier 2, we pay $50 and you (or your insurance) pay the balance of $60
For Tier 3, we pay $70 and you (or your insurance) pay the balance of $40
Plus if you have a really expensive bill or medical emergency, you can access “FUND MY BUN” and crowd fund your balance.

SPAY & NEUTER – We consider this a very important part of every rabbit’s health.
Payments –
Tier 1 = up to $100 paid per bill
Tier 2 = up to $200 paid per bill
Tier 3 = up to $300 paid per bill
Example situation – If your vet bill has a $400.00 charge for a spay or neuter, we pay $100, $200, or $300 depending on your tier program.
For Tier 1, we pay $100 and you (or your insurance) pay the balance of $300
For Tier 2, we pay $200 and you (or your insurance) pay the balance of $200
For Tier 3, we pay $300 and you (or your insurance) pay the balance of $100
Plus if you have a really expensive bill or medical emergency, you can access “FUND MY BUN” and crowd fund your balance.

EMERGENCY & DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES – These are services to diagnose and treat sudden or newly found health issues.
INCLUDES: Emergency Exam / Exam to diagnose a newly found issues / Trims / Chronic dental disease / X-rays, Ultrasound, CT Scans / Blood test
Payment –
Tier 1 = up to $100 paid per bill
Tier 2 = up to $200 paid per bill
Tier 3 = up to $300 paid per bill
– Limited to one visit every 3 months with a maximum of 3 per year per rabbit. These can be paid out as separate items even if they are on the same bill.
Example situation – If your vet bill has a $650.00 charge for an Emergency Exam, Exam to diagnose a newly found issues, Trims, Chronic dental disease, X-rays, Ultrasound, CT Scans or Blood test, we pay $100, $200, or $300 depending on your tier program.
For Tier 1, we pay $100 and you (or your insurance) pay the balance of $550
For Tier 2, we pay $200 and you (or your insurance) pay the balance of $450
For Tier 3, we pay $300 and you (or your insurance) pay the balance of $350
Plus if you have a really expensive bill or medical emergency, you can access “FUND MY BUN” and crowd fund your balance.

MINOR MEDICAL SERVICES – These are services to treat major and chronic health issues. These can be paid out as separate items even if they are on the same bill.
TREATMENTS INCLUDING: Holistic treatment / Treatment for a common infection / Dental issues
Payment –
Tier 1 = up to $100 paid per bill
Tier 2 = up to $200 paid per bill
Tier 3 = up to $300 paid per bill
– Limited to one visit every 3 months with a maximum of 3 per year per rabbit. These can be paid out as separate items even if they are on the same bill.
Example situation – If your vet bill has a $820.00 charge for a Holistic treatment, Treatment for a common infection, or Dental issues, we pay $100, $200, or $300 depending on your tier program.
For Tier 1, we pay $100 and you (or your insurance) pay the balance of $720
For Tier 2, we pay $200 and you (or your insurance) pay the balance of $620
For Tier 3, we pay $300 and you (or your insurance) pay the balance of $520
Plus if you have a really expensive bill or medical emergency, you can access “FUND MY BUN” and crowd fund your balance.

TREATMENTS INCLUDING: Major dental treatment / Cancer treatment / Overnight stay / Megacolon / Urinary tract treatment / Treatment for a vision issue / Treatment for a bone fracture / Chronic kidney disease treatment / Liver lobe torsion treatment / Amputation / Head tilt treatment / Gi stasis treatment / Surgery / Upper respiratory treatment / Heart disease treatment/cremation / euthanasia.
Payment –
Tier 1 = up to $150 paid per bill
Tier 2 = up to $300 paid per bill
Tier 3 = up to $450 paid per bill
-Limited to one visit every 3 months with a maximum of 3 per year per rabbit. These can be paid out as separate items even if they are on the same bill.
Example situation – If your vet bill has a $1,200.00 charge for a Major dental treatment, Cancer treatment, Overnight stay, Megacolon, Urinary tract treatment, Treatment for a vision issue, Treatment for a bone fracture, Chronic kidney disease treatment, Liver lobe torsion treatment, Amputation, Head tilt treatment, Gi stasis treatment, Surgery, Upper respiratory treatment, Heart disease treatment/cremation, euthanasia, we pay $150, $300, or $450 depending on your tier program.
For Tier 1, we pay $150 and you (or your insurance) pay the balance of $1,150
For Tier 2, we pay $300 and you (or your insurance) pay the balance of $900
For Tier 3, we pay $450 and you (or your insurance) pay the balance of $750
